李厚强,男,中国科学技术大学电子工程与信息科学系教授、博士生导师,国家“杰出青年基金”获得者,IEEE高级会员,多媒体计算与通信教育部-微软重点实验室副主任。主要研究方向包括:视频编码与通信、多媒体信息检索、图象处理与分析等。发表学术论文100余篇;申请发明专利40余项,已授权20余项;有45项技术提案被视频编码国际标准接受。获省部级一等奖1项(排名1),获国际会议最佳论文奖4项。
