主要研究方向:无线网络和移动计算、物联网、网络安全、数据隐私、社会网络、算法分析设计。

李向阳博士(英文用名Xiang-Yang Li),男,出生于1971年10月,现为中国科学技术大学计算机科学与技术学院教授、博导、执行院长。1995获得 清华大学计算机科学和工商管理双学士,1999年获得美国伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳-香槟分校硕士,2001年获得美国伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳-香槟分校博士。曾任伊利诺伊理工大学计算机科学系助理教授、副教授、教授,曾任清华大学 EMC讲席教授,微软亚洲研究院访问教授。李向阳教授一直从事无线网络性能分析、网络优化、与安全可信保障方面的基础理论和系统构建方面的研究。在2014年底当选IEEE Fellow(“for contributions to performance analysis and resource allocation in wireless networks”),2014年底当选ACM杰出科学家(Distinguished Scientist)。自2000年以来已在高水平国际期刊及会议累计发表300余篇学术论文,其中包括知名IEEE Transactions系列期刊上面近80篇论文,及计算机网络领域著名的学术会议ACM MobiCom论文12篇(近10年来获该会议最佳论文奖1次,最佳论文奖提名2次,最佳演示奖1次),IEEE INFOCOM论文近50篇。李向阳教授多次获得国际会议最佳论文奖,例如ACM MobiCom 2014、IEEE GlobeCom 2015、IEEE IPCCC 2014、IEEE HICSS 2001,COCOON 2001的最佳论文奖。2015年8月一篇论文被IEEE Innovation Spotlight重点介绍。撰写了一本无线网络领域的专著《Wireless Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks: Theory and Applications》, 也多次参与了无线网络书籍的撰写和编辑。作为第一发明人,申请了14项国内发明专利,获得4项美国临时专利。李向阳教授目前为《IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking》,《IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing》等多个顶级国际期刊的编委,也担任了《IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems》的编委,和算法百科全书《Encyclopedia of Algorithms》无线网络学科方向的编辑。曾经担任了多个知名国际学术会议程序委员会主席或者大会主席(如ACM MobiHoc,IEEE MASS等),多年来担任本领域的重要学术会议的程序委员会成员(如ACM MobiCom,IEEE INFOCOM等)。作为项目负责人或合作方承担了中国国家自然科学基金、美国国家自然基金、香港RGC等支持的项目。
